Digital Literacy Conference

The LTC's Digital Literacy Conference is back! After the positive feedback from last year's conference, we will once again host this two day event with both virtual and in-person options. 

We are currently accepting proposals to present both in-person workshops and virtual breakout sessions for this year's conference. Individuals selected to present an in-person workshop will receive complimentary registration for the full conference. Individuals accepted to present a virtual breakout session will receive complimentary registration for the virtual portion of the conference.

Day 1 | Thursday, September 12, 2024
Location: NIU Naperville
Format: 1.5 hour workshops
Day 2 | Friday, September 13, 2024
Location: Online
Format: Traditional 50 minute break out sessions

Presentation Details


Titles should be descriptive yet catchy. Often, titles are what first attract attendees to a session. Titles may be edited for length or grammatical errors.

350 words or less. This will be shared with conference attendees if your proposal is accepted.

To help bring the content to life and make it actionable, please clearly define how your session will support attendees in implementing and applying the knowledge learned during your session. Complete this sentence: "By attending this session, attendees will be able to..."

Describe the flow of the session. What is the format, how will you include interactivity and participation, and what are the main components?
